About Anne Tsamas

After working in family medicine for 12 years as a medical assistant, I saw a great need for massage therapy as an addition to traditional medicine.

This was a very large practice that saw about 300 patients a day. About  30 percent of those patients were there for migrainesbackshoulder and neck pain.

  • Medical Assistant in Family Practice Medicine (1996-2007)
  • Bluegrass Professional School of Massage Therapy
  • National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
  • Licensed Kentucky Massage Therapist. (2008-Present)

Massage therapy greatly reduces the need for pain medication.

I have been on site as the sports massage therapist at several professional tennis tournaments held in the United States.

The goal of sports massage is to enhance the athlete’s performance.

Performance is regulated by the efficiency, precision, and freedom with which the athlete is able to move. Efficiency is dependent on training and conditioning.

When was the last time you got a sports massage? Have you ever thought that sports massage is a part of a training cycle?
